Register now for our highly anticipated 2025 Annual Conference! This year’s event will take place on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at GRAMMY Museum Mississippi in Cleveland, Mississippi
Pre-Conference Activities: To kick off the conference, we are offering a variety of pre-conference activities on March 28, 2025, which are available for registration now. These activities provide valuable learning and networking opportunities, so be sure to check them out!
Are you coming to the MS-AND Conference in the Mississippi Delta? Are you looking for an awesome outdoor adventure right in the heart of the Delta?
Join in and paddle out into the Dockery Swamp with the Delta State University Outdoor Program in a canoe.
This pre-conference activity will allow 12 lucky participants the opportunity to paddle through an old-growth swamp on the outskirts of Cleveland where you’ll see bald cypress, water tupelo, black willow, cherry bark oak, red maple, and persimmon tree species. Paddlers will also have the opportunity to view various native and migratory birds, such as Wood ducks, snowy egrets, great egret, Prothonotary warblers, and yellow-crowned night herons. Bring your camera and adventurous spirit. Space is limited. A small adventure fee is required. Participants will need to meet in the lobby of the Cotton House Hotel at 12:00 PM sharp!
Do you want to truly inspire the next generation to eat healthy and encourage young learners to “know” where their food comes from? Join Krista Davis, Rd, LN, coordinator of garden & nutrition education for the Cleveland School District for a garden tour of the Bell Academy Sports school garden and the newly built Cleveland Central Middle School garden and agricultural science program facility. This pre-conference activity will allow participants to access each garden program, ask questions, learn about grant funding opportunities, and see successful models at work.
Networking Social Event: Join us for a Networking Social Event on the evening of March 28, before the main conference day. This is a fantastic opportunity to connect with colleagues, exchange ideas, and enjoy some great conversation in a relaxed setting.
Hotel Information: We’ve arranged a room block at the Cotton House Hotel in Cleveland, Mississippi. Please note the room block cut off date is March 7, 2025!
Awards Nominations: Nominations are now closed and we look forward to presenting the awards at this year’s annual meeting.
Abstract Submissions: The abstract submission deadline was Friday, March 7th, 2025, thank you to all that submitted. Don’t miss out on the chance to learn, connect, and engage with your peers in the beautiful surroundings of Cleveland and the Grammy Museum.
